Grocery Shopping

Kudos to whoever invented the kid friendly carts at grocery stores!! Elizabeth sure enjoys them and so do I. I remember the grocery store growing up had little carts for kids to push around themselves. My sister and I *may* have run into our parents ankles a few (or many) times. These are a major improvement.

Spring Flowers

Elizabeth planted a few flowers. So far so good. She does enjoy watering them (maybe a little too much) and touching them (again, a little too much).

Visiting Daddy at work

Elizabeth enjoyed traveling to Berkeley to visit John at his office. She got the behind the scenes tour of Haas Pavilion and Memorial Stadium. We hope she likes sports as she grows up!!

Ice Cream Date with Friends

Sweet Allie and Sean ( and their mom) came over for dinner and ice cream. These three had a great time playing, eating and laughing together. Glad for great friends!!

Memories

Can you believe this was a YEAR AGO?!?!? What happened to that little baby? She is such a big girl now. John and I couldn't be luckier. Elizabeth is certainly a blessing in our life's. .

Monterey Bay Aquarium

We traveled to the aquarium a while back. It was great!! Elizabeth had a nice time talking to, touching and seeing the animals there. I think she enjoyed the stations where she could get wet and play with the starfish and such the most. It was a great day and fun trip. Thanks to John for the idea and driving!!!

Been awhile!!!!

Has it really been 3 months since we posted?!?! Yikes.

Things in Cali are going well for John, Elizabeth and I. We are enjoying the (mostly) great weather, trying out some local food places and traveling for short day trips. Overall, doing ok.

Elizabeth keeps us on our toes with her growing vocabulary and motor skill abilities that she is acquiring. She amazes us each day. She loves her school and the new friends in her class. Hard to think that in just a couple months she will be in the 2's room. O my!!!

Johns work is taking off. He has filled out a small staff so that is helping him out. Lots to learn and do each day but so far so good.

My job is ok. Lots to learn and think about. I have enjoyed it all though.
