High Chair Time

Miss Elizabeth has been spending more and more time in her high chair.  A few weeks ago she was playing with her toys and I caught this super fun pic of her.  Maybe her kitty was being bad?  Love the facial expressions she is starting to show off.  I am sure we in for it with this little lady!

CEREAL

Elizabeth has been trying out cereal for a couple weeks now.  She has taken well to it, not that we thought she would have issues, she is a great eater!!  Below are some shots of her first experience with cereal, high chair feeding, spoon, bowl, and MESS.  Enjoy!!

Pre-Game Face (I think she is ready, don't you?).  Wonder what she is really thinking?

After only a few bites she is a total mess.  She seems to enjoy screaming in between spoonfuls, we can only assume it is because we are not moving fast enough.  As fast as we are shoveling it in, she pushes it out of her mouth and all over her chin and beyond.  Never ending struggle!!
All done?  Really??
Wait, I see a little bit more in here!!  Now if I could just get to it!!

And now, time for a bath before the next feeding in a few short hours!!  Woohoo!!

Go Mean Green!!!

My cousin Hudson and I went to a Mean Green football game a few weekends back.  Below are some pics that are pretty fun to look at.  We traveled to the game in nothing but a classy truck driven by Hudson's Mom.  Hudson and I sat in back chatting.  Grandma was there too, what fun!

This was not our first rodeo at football games so we had our dads prepped and ready with our carriers when we arrived.  The wind was a little much for our little ears so we got to leave early.  We aren't even sure if the Mean Green won!!

6 Months Old

Elizabeth Anne Gibson has reached her 1/2 year milestone!  John and I are not sure where the time went!  She can roll over, sit up, babble (more than ever before) and has started cereal this weekend (this event is so great it deserves its own blog all together).  She really is starting to play with her toys, not just hold/drop them. She sometimes claps her hands together when excited.  Crawling may not be too far from her future.  John and I are in for it then.  She sometimes shows signs of teething but nothing has come through.  At her six month appointment, she was just over 17 lbs and close to 28 inches long.  Very healthy girl overall.  She really loves to reach and grab things (light switches as you walk by them, the dog, your glass, hair, you name it!!).

She really wanted to eat the sign this month.  There was no good way to place the paper down and snap a pic at the same time so we decided to just go with it.  Just like everything else she locates, she wants to sample.

Picnic in the Park!

Daddy had a great suggestion a few weekends ago, Picnic in the Park.  It was such a pretty day to be outside.  We packed our lunches, toys & chairs and set out for an adventure.  We spent a long time playing and just enjoying  ourselves outdoors.  Great fun!!!
