6 Months Old

Elizabeth Anne Gibson has reached her 1/2 year milestone!  John and I are not sure where the time went!  She can roll over, sit up, babble (more than ever before) and has started cereal this weekend (this event is so great it deserves its own blog all together).  She really is starting to play with her toys, not just hold/drop them. She sometimes claps her hands together when excited.  Crawling may not be too far from her future.  John and I are in for it then.  She sometimes shows signs of teething but nothing has come through.  At her six month appointment, she was just over 17 lbs and close to 28 inches long.  Very healthy girl overall.  She really loves to reach and grab things (light switches as you walk by them, the dog, your glass, hair, you name it!!). 

She really wanted to eat the sign this month.  There was no good way to place the paper down and snap a pic at the same time so we decided to just go with it.  Just like everything else she locates, she wants to sample.
