Can you believe John and I will have been in our first home for a year already? We moved in Valentines day of 2009. What a day that was?! John and I were up late the night before doing last minute packing and up early for some more packing, the movers were late, cable company was early. At least the weather was nice to us!!
After all out stuff was in the new place, we had a great time finding places for it all to go. We quickly realized we didn't have enough to fill the place but we have worked on acquiring pieces through the year to make it feel nice and homey. Now that is not to say that there aren't a few unpacked boxes still looming in the house. I am sure we will eventually get around to those. Someday. :)
Several people have visited the house, we even hosted Thanksgiving in November. Many family members and friends came to stay with us and celebrate. We love company so please let us know when you would like to visit!!
We still LOVE the house and keep finding little projects to keep us busy. It seems there is always something that can be improved or changed to fit our needs. We can't believe it has been a whole year since we moved into the house. What a GREAT year it has been too!!
