Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

What an eventful past week for Miss Elizabeth!

In the last several days, Elizabeth has experienced a new world at Daycare, went to her first church service at First Presbyterian Church in Navasota, and she also took in her first Aggie Baseball game vs. t.u!

Elizabeth has enjoyed daycare and her new teachers so far. We've been able to follow her throughout the day on the center's webcam. It looks like she especially enjoys the mechanical swing from time to time.

Church service last Sunday was enjoyable as well. A traveling Christian group helped lead worship with their musical talents. It was an unexpected surprise that added to the spirit of the service. Elizabeth liked meeting several of the church members before and after church, and thankfully she didn't stir too much during the sermon! I've been going to First Presbyterian since I was a child, and we look forward to having all three of us attend together and see Elizabeth grow up in the church, just as I did!

And to top it all off, Elizabeth took in her first Aggie baseball game last week vs Texas. After work, Karissa and I got Elizabeth decked out in her Aggie gear, fed and ready to go to the ballgame. Olsen Field was packed and raring to go! We didn't even think about the noise level when making preparations for the game. We had to keep her hat and a towel draped over her hears so it wouldn't be too loud. Elizabeth didn't seem to mind the noise too much. Unfortunately, the Ags couldn't pull out the win, but it was a memorable first game for Elizabeth. Next up...Aggie football at Kyle Field!!!

As always, keep checking back for more updates!
