I do have to say I have outdone myself this past weekend for Fathers Day. Let me tell you all the fun things I did for my Dad to make his first Fathers Day super fun!!!
I started out Fathers Day weekend by having "Donuts with Dad" at school on Friday morning. While I didn't make the donuts, I did make him a fun drawing just from me. It was hard work mixing all those paint colors!! I couldn't tell anyone about the project so it would be a secret for him that morning. I hear he hung the artwork at his office for all his work friends to see. He must really like it!
On Saturday, Mommy and I went out for a bit to finish up my gift for him from the two of us. We had a dear friend Jennifer help us with the project too. I got to get my feet all dirty with ink to sign the book I picked out for Dad. I sure hope he reads it to me every night!
We went to visit Aunt Sue and Uncle James as well. Nedra and Doug happened to be there too. It was a great time. Afterwards, I took Daddy to Lowe's. He really loves that store. This time he was looking for sprinkler heads. I have no idea what those are or why there are so many to choose from but I waited patiently for him to make his selection.
