What an amazing trip! John suggested we head up to Denver on a whim, one week before we actually left! I guess he didn't think I would take him up on the offer but we booked the flight, hotel, rent car, etc. within hours and were on our way!
We had such a great time seeing old friends and family. John was able to catch up with some graduate school buddies, see the DU campus and the mountains with snow. :)
What more could he ask for? Aggie football of course!! The Aggie football team played Colorado. Great game at Folsom Field even though the Aggies didn't come out with a win. It was a fun experience to share the Aggie Spirit with some Colorado friends.
We were lucky enough to also spend time with family in Arvada and see a great high school play. Overall, it was a perfect weekend (and a long one at that) and it was just what we needed.
