Phew! What a weekend!! John and I LOVED having family and friends attend our first Thanksgiving in our first home together. Thank you to all who traveled to make it here!! It was so great we could all be together. We did miss those who could not attend and were with us in spirit.
John and I enjoyed all the planning aspects and the actual implementation. From shopping for the food to the last time we ran the dishwasher, we had a wonderful time. We had an issue or two with a blow up mattress and a turkey pan that was too large for the oven but I think those were the hiccups of the weekend. The food was tasty and the company was even better. I will mark the event off as a success.
The football game was a great time had by all. Even though the final outcome was not an upset, the Aggies played a great game. I know all the family had a nice time being a part of Aggie game day. John loved working the event at Kyle Field, what an experience.
The dogs had a merry time playing together in the backyard. Poor things only came in to sleep and eat. Otherwise it was an outdoors weekend for them.
Even Santa's Wonderland was an experience with the line, parking shuttle, truck bed passengers and iPhone Christmas music. It was great! Thanks again, can't wait for the next one!!
